Account Owners have the ability to delete an applicant from a job. Additionally, the Roles & Permissions feature allows Admins and Account Owners to grant other users the permission to delete applicants. However, we strongly advise against making this action available to all users in your account due to its irreversible nature.
To delete an applicant:
1. Search for the applicant you wish to delete.
2. Click the Select Action button for the applicant you wish to delete from the applicant listing page and select Delete Applicant.
You can also delete an applicant from within their applicant profile by clicking the Delete Applicant icon.
Confirmation Process:
Regardless of the method used to initiate the deletion, the following confirmation pop-up will appear:
It is important to understand this is a Permanent Deletion of an Applicant's Profile
Deleting an applicant's profile is an irreversible action. All associated data, events, and files will be permanently destroyed, including:
- Resumes, Cover Letters, and other files
- Offer Letter and Onboarding Documents
- Scheduled or active events such as Interviews, Pending Offer Letters/document requests, Background Checks, and any other pending events associated with this profile.
- Metrics and Reporting Data associated with this applicant.
Please ensure that you have backed up any necessary information before proceeding, as neither the Support Team nor Engineering will be able to restore this applicant once the deletion is completed.
If you're unsure whether this is the correct action, consider archiving the applicant instead.
Final Step:
If you are certain this is the correct action, please type the applicant's name in the provided field labeled "Enter Applicant's Name" and then click the big red "Delete" button.
Remember: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Proceed with caution.
